I’ve been asked to join a panel at this year’s LONDON SCREENWRITERS’ FESTIVAL, taking place at the School of Film Media & Performance on the last weekend of the month. The session is about writing scripts for young people – if you’re around at the event, do come along and say hello!…
Safety goggles at the ready! New CBBC sitcom with a messy, sciencey twist THE REVOLTING WORLD OF STANLEY BROWN is showing on Fridays from 21 September. It’s made by Retort, and I wrote the third episode ‘Pain’.
I’ve been commissioned by the lovely folk at KARROT ANIMATION to write a pilot script for a top secret new animated family comedy project with a fierce twist.
I’ve been in with the team writing on an episode of THE AMAZING WORLD OF GUMBALL, the comedy animation from Cartoon Network. I’m also working on a commissioned pilot script for a new top secret sitcom project from BBC Comedy.
I’ve been commissioned to write a new original narrative script with Carl Carter for BBC Comedy – it’s an action comedy with a paranormal twist called ‘The Inspectres’, for delivery in August.
I’ve been working on the first of a new series of THE KUMARS for Hat Trick and Sky, alongside Carl Carter. The family are due to be back on our screens later in 2012.
Lights, camera, action!… DIDDY MOVIES, the new CBBC series I’ve written with Carl Carter, is now showing on the CBBC channel, and on BBC2 very soon. Each episode is a different mini blockbuster movie, with a uniquely tiny twist.
THE LEGEND OF DICK AND DOM, the CBBC show on which I am a lead writer, has been nominated for a Bafta Comedy Award for the third year running. I also wrote for the latest series of THE SLAMMER, which is up for a Bafta Entertainment Award.
