I’ve been commissioned by BBC Comedy to write an original sitcom script for radio called KILLER IN KRISTINA, co-created with Brona C. Titley. The show is about a loving wife and mother who’s also a serial killer.

Jan 2014 – New interactive game show ‘Ludus’ starts on CBBC
Set phasers to fun!… I’ve script edited the first CBBC game-show with a live play-along app, LUDUS is showing on Mondays from 20 January. Set on a weird and wonky space transport, it’s made by Boom Kids, and the full run is 20 episodes. To play along live or on catch-up, download the app here.
Oct 2013 – Development deal with VH-1 in New York
I’ve won a development deal with VH1 in New York for a nostalgia reality TV show pitch I created with Brona C. Titley, ‘Teen Time Machine’. We pitched as part of the New York TV Festival – a Hollywood Reporter article on the festival deals and awards is here. We were artists at the 2013 festival as part of the Bafta Rocliffe comedy writing forum.
Oct 2013 – Nannies presented at the New York Television Festival
As a winner of the BAFTA Rocliffe Comedy Award 2013, my sitcom script ‘Nannies’, co-written with Brona C. Titley, was performed as part of a primetime event at the NEW YORK TV FESTIVAL on 23rd October. Greg Daniels, co-creator of The Office and Parks & Recreation (right), then gave us a live notes session on stage at the SVA Theatre.
Sept 2013 – Script editing new CBBC game-show ‘Ludus’
I’m script editing a brand new futuristic game-show called LUDUS, set in a twisted virtual world. It’s being made by Boom Kids for CBBC, and the 20 half-hour episodes include a dual screen option where viewers can download a game app to play along in real time.
July 2013 – Bafta Rocliffe Comedy Winner 2013
I’ve won the BAFTA ROCLIFFE NEW COMEDY AWARD for the sitcom script ‘Nannies’ that I wrote with Brona C. Titley, beating more than 500 entries. We will now be going to the NEW YORK TELEVISION FESTIVAL in October to see it performed in front of an industry panel.
June 2013 – Writing episodes of ‘The Slammer’ for CBBC
I’m writing episodes for a new series of Bafta-winning comedy THE SLAMMER on CBBC, including the Christmas special with a special star CBBC line-up, and all the festive trimmings!
April 2013 – Pilot script for new kids comedy-drama ‘A Long Long Crime Ago’
I’ve been commissioned to write the pilot script for a new kids comedy/drama ‘A LONG LONG CRIME AGO’ by BBC Scotland for CBBC. It’s a mix of CSI reconstructions and courtroom dramas set in a twisted, fairy tale world. With funny bits.
Feb 2013 – Lead writer on Series 2 of Bafta-nominated ‘Diddy Movies’ for CBBC
I’ve been re-commissioned to write on a second series of the BAFTA-nominated Diddy Movies for CBBC with Carl Carter. The show is due to start filming in a few months… I’m also writing additional material for a new adult sitcom pilot with a supernatural twist.
Oct 2012 – Bafta Children’s Award nominations for Diddy Movies and The Slammer
BAFTA CHILDREN’S AWARDS NOMINATIONS have been announced for two shows I’ve co-written. In the Comedy Award category, DIDDY MOVIES episode Fight!; in the Entertainment Award category, THE SLAMMER episode Trouble in Store. The awards ceremony is on November 25th.
Oct 2012 – Speaking on panel at London Screenwriters’ Festival
I’ve been asked to join a panel at this year’s LONDON SCREENWRITERS’ FESTIVAL, taking place at the School of Film Media & Performance on the last weekend of the month. The session is about writing scripts for young people – if you’re around at the event, do come along and say hello!…
Sept 2012 – Sitcom ‘Revolting World of Stanley Brown’ starts on CBBC
Safety goggles at the ready! New CBBC sitcom with a messy, sciencey twist THE REVOLTING WORLD OF STANLEY BROWN is showing on Fridays from 21 September. It’s made by Retort, and I wrote the third episode ‘Pain’.

I’ve been commissioned by the lovely folk at KARROT ANIMATION to write a pilot script for a top secret new animated family comedy project with a fierce twist.
Aug 2012 – Writing on episode of ‘The Amazing World of Gumball’
I’ve been in with the team writing on an episode of THE AMAZING WORLD OF GUMBALL, the comedy animation from Cartoon Network. I’m also working on a commissioned pilot script for a new top secret sitcom project from BBC Comedy.
June 2012 – BBC Comedy commission for original action comedy script
I’ve been commissioned to write a new original narrative script with Carl Carter for BBC Comedy – it’s an action comedy with a paranormal twist called ‘The Inspectres’, for delivery in August.
